Around the world, women lack access to quality healthcare services. While the public health community has traditionally focused on access to reproductive health and family planning services, severe disparities remain in access to other aspects of medical care, including bed nets or anti-malarial medications and treatment for diarrheal diseases, cancer, or HIV/AIDS.
