All of her health. For all of her life.

Whether in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, in the villages of rural Pakistan, or on one of Indonesia’s remote islands, expecting mothers everywhere have the same aspirations. They want to deliver a healthy baby who will survive childhood. They want to live to see their child have a better quality of life. Motherhood is a God-given calling, and we honor the dignity of mothers when we help ensure that they and their children can survive the difficult and painful process of childbirth. Training skilled birth attendants, providing access to quality, evidence-based newborn care, and preventing or repairing obstetric fistula are just a few of the ways we can affirm the worth of mothers and their children, honoring the image of God in them.
