A foundation is seeking to empower widows in Nigeria with needed skills to earn an income, as well as provide the medical treatment they lack. “It may be a big deal for them to go to the hospital for treatments, hence the reason we decided to bring along the medical doctors and nurses who will help to diagnose them and give medications as required. As for critical cases, a referral letter would be given to such patients to the nearest government health facilities where they would be treated.”
