Infant Mortality: The Unforgivable Grief (Daily Pakistan)
Qazi argues that the high level of infant mortality in the country is due in large part to poor sanitation, inadequate education, and the scarcity of medical centers and staff. “Inspiring change,” he writes, “is possible by equipping women with tools and resources to become good mothers. These well-equipped and resourceful mothers will turn the tables, as they can be the most effective ambassadors creating a cycle to educate the rest.”
