Supreme Court Refuses Surrogacy Case of Mother Pressured to Abort Triplet (The Federalist)
The Supreme Court has announced it will not hear the surrogacy case of M.C. v. C.M. Surrogate mother Melissa Cook sought to raise questions related to the constitutional guarantees of due process rights and equal protection of surrogate mothers or babies born to surrogates. Currently in California, where Cook was a surrogate, state surrogacy laws take precedence.
